To set up your Ribbon Cutting Celebration:
·Contact Mable Rogers, Director of Membership Sales & Services at the Greater Durham Chamber of Commerce Office at (919) 328-8731.
·Schedule your date minimum of 30 days prior to the event, and after confirming the date with Mable Rogers, invite an unlimited amount of family, friends and business associates to be the guests and attendees for your event.
Ribbon Cutting Celebration & Ceremony package includes:
·Listing on the Chamber’s Calendar of Events with a description of the event and of your business, along with a online registration managed by Chamber staff.
·Ribbon Cutting photo and caption on the Chamber’s website, with a link to your website and your address and contact information displayed.
·Special logo recognition in the Connections newsletter and other Chamber communication materials.
·Opportunity to offer members a special Ribbon Cutting Discount for thirty days, which will be displayed on the Chamber website.
·An invitation to your Ribbon Cutting sent to all Chamber members, staff and ambassadors, the Chamber’s Board of Directors and City Council members, resulting in publicity for your event and your business.
·Special invitation and request for Mayor Bill Bell or a Durham elected official or Casey Steinbacher, Chamber President/CEO to officiate (based on location of business and schedule).
·Invitation template for you to distribute to unlimited customers, clients and other guests who will help to make your celebration a success.
·A celebratory cake for your business and guests, courtesy of Sam's Club at 4005 Chapel Hill Blvd. in Durham
·An attending Chamber staff member will bring the official Chamber ribbon and scissors, and will take photos of the event so that you can greet and network with all attendees.
·A photo of your ribbon cutting for your business to display- professionally matted and framed in an 8x10 by the custom framing shop, Fast Frame at 1125 W. Highway 54 in Durham.
