
What is Green Plus?
Green Plus is a green and sustainable small business certification and education program that gives small businesses affordable, practical support in succeeding financially while being good to their environment, employees and community. It is a collaborative effort of local research universities, Chambers of Commerce, business, and philanthropic foundations and provides its members with professional support as they assess their performance as well as their community and environmental stewardship.

Durham Chamber Green Plus Scholarship
The Greater Durham Chamber of Commerce will provide twenty scholarships for area businesses to become Green Plus Certified. Scholarship applications are being accepted now through July 31, 2009.
