Leadership Durham Alumni - Stay Connected & Get Involved!
The Leadership Durham program encourages leadership participation in one of the many diverse nonprofit organizations in our community. Such participation not only strengthens our community, but it also refines leadership skills. Triangle BoardConnect matches Triangle nonprofits with individuals who wish to give back to their community by serving on nonprofit boards. Visit their website to register your profile, including your skills and interest regarding board service. You can then review the profiles of several nonprofits to determine if any match your interests. Nonprofits may also contact you, if your skills and interests match their needs. If you are already on a nonprofit board, consider using this program to network and attract new board members.
If you are an alumni of the Leadership Durham program and have recently moved or accepted a position with a different organization, we want to know! Alumni receive email notifications regarding upcoming alumni events, community information, City of Durham and Durham County open positions on boards committees and commissions, and Chamber events, etc. Please send your updated contact information to Kelsey Moore at kmoore@durhamchamber.org.
