The Greater Durham Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with several community organizations, has held numerous forums since 2005 to bring awareness to Workforce Development issues. These forums included:

April 2007 – State of Durham’s Children, a report on the status of education from birth through high school graduation
June 2007 - The Role of Arts in Attracting the Creative Class
July 2007 - Utilizing the Arts to Develop an Innovative & Healthy Workforce
October 2007 – Flex in the City: New Ways to Manage the Multi-Generational Workforce
