Join MindWorks Multimedia and Scientific Properties as they host the November Business After Hours in the newly renovated Building 5 at Golden Belt! Enjoy tasty treats from Blu Seafood and Bar as well as a variety of beverages as you network and explore the former factory turned corporate headquarters of MindWorks.
MindWorks is an award-winning interactive multimedia and video production company that offers custom e-learning course development, audio and video podcast creation, website development, social marketing program design, broadcast quality video production, and event planning and management. A long-time Durham-based company, MindWorks partnered with Scientific Properties to renovate Building 5 of Golden Belt.
Scientific Properties, LLC is a Durham-based real estate development company focused on comprehensive, community-based urban real estate development specializing in historic preservation, urban revitalization, adaptive re-use, and arts-related development. Golden Belt is one of its properties that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Stop by Building 5 on November 19th to check out the transformation and see the new video/photo production studio, audio suite and two new Avid editing suites. You can also see how wood found in the old factory was re-milled and used for some of the interior walls.
