Policy Research

The Chamber does its research!  Before we take a position on any public policy initiative or proposed legislation, we do our homework, meeting with informed individuals and groups on both sides of an issue.

One or more of our Governmental Affairs Division committees takes in the research and makes a recommendation through the division to the Chamber’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors about whether the Chamber should take a position to support or oppose legislation, or to take no position.
